What Does It Mean?
Is it bad to want your needs met? Not at all. In fact, Scripture highlights our responsibility to care for ourselves and our families:
"But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." (1 Timothy 5:8, ESV). Parallel though different thoughts can also be found elsewhere such as in Exodus 20:12 and Proverbs 13:22.
We believe that a healthy definition of being fully funded extends beyond merely addressing minimal financial needs commonly associated with poverty. It’s about stepping into freedom—the freedom to provide for your family, be generous (Proverbs 19:17), and pursue your God-given ministry vision without distraction. For Kingdom workers, this means ensuring that both personal and ministry resources are abundant enough to thrive and fulfill God’s mission.
Your identity, worth, and value come from God alone. Even as a Christ-follower, the sanctification process continues, and daily dependence on your Savior is essential. Being spiritually fit means practicing disciplines like prayer, Bible study, giving, and worship—not to earn favor, but to walk closely with God.
For Kingdom workers, staying spiritually fit is critical in support raising. It builds trust in God’s provision and anchors you in His purpose through challenges and celebrations.
"Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me." (Proverbs 30:8b, ESV)
Being vision focused means raising enough resources to see your family and God-led ministry flourish while avoiding both excess and scarcity. When your family’s needs are responsibly met, and your mission is properly resourced, you are positioned to prayerfully move forward and thrive. Wise stewardship and honest accounting in partnership development allow a God focused dream to become a reality with eternal impact. How much is enough? Healthy vision sets the budget, instead of the budget setting the vision!
"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8, ESV)
This isn’t about getting everything you want, and it certainly is not a name-it-and-claim prosperity gospel! Rather, being fully funded is about more than finances—it’s about freedom.
